If you're wondering how many NYPD officers it takes to trap a rogue #raccoon on 9th Ave, it takes 6. And they still haven't caught it.

No disrespect to the NYPD. This little guy is crafty as hell. pic.twitter.com/EmjYLXbJgw

Police were called after an attempted to break-in.
@AuntMaureen @towhey I asked an officer and he said that it was trying to get into someone's window and they called 911.

I asked an officer, what happens if the raccoon escapes? "Well he lives in the wild, so he can't really escape. He just lives here." #truth

And the NYPD puts away its cage, grim in defeat, in the knowledge that the raccoon hero of 9th Avenue glides into the pale blue night, free.

The raccoon’s motive are unknown, but he bears a striking resemblance to a “Guardians of the Galaxy” character.
.@BrooklynSavvy I think maybe he was. His sleepy stare said, "Guys, I just want to nap. And keep ppl in their rent-stabilized apartments."

He was really near a very animated looking tree. “@lesmil1: @MeganBungeroth @jshormanNL Hey, isn't that Bradley Cooper?”
