News that Stephen Colbert will take over for “Late Night” host David Letterman in 2015 had many talking Thursday, including St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay.

As a handful of folks pointed out, St. Louis has a weekly late-night talk show, “STL Up Late.”

Season 2 of “STL Up Late” debuts Saturday with Scott Carey of Sump Coffee and Scarlet Tanager; tickets are available.
