Time for you’re grammar check

yourIf you’re going to put your ad on Facebook, please grammar check it.

Reunion.com (you know, the Web site that helps you find people you went to school with) placed that ad on Facebook. I sent them an e-mail about it:

Reunion has an ad on Facebook with the headline “You’re name was searched.”

“You’re” is a contraction of you and are. In this case, you mean “your.” As a Web site that connects people to former classmates, this looks foolish. Please fix it.

We’ll see if they respond; they said the reference number for my “question” is 080420-000181.

Oh, and stop stalking me.
