15 Jan
Star Clipper’s announced on Thursday that the shop will close next month. The 27-year-old Delmar Loop comic shop will begin liquidating its inventory Saturday.
Star Clipper fans took to social media to share their memories of the shop.
Cheers and hugs to the staff at StL comic shop (& my wedding chapel) @StarClipper. Best luck on your future endeavors.

@StarClipper was the first place I was brave enough to sell my own comics, too.

We were in @StarClipper a week ago and bought a pile of stuff. And they have a big indie/local section, which is awesome. This is very sad.

@StarClipper This is turrible. You all were my introduction to comics and I love you for that.

Sad news about the closing of @StarClipper in The Loop. Great comic shop. One of the first places to make me feel at home in St. Louis.

.@starclipper closing feels like a family member dying. So many, many fond memories. Easily the coolest comic shop in STL.
