A couple of weather-related notes: You’ll see a lot of people using the hashtag #stlwx on Twitter with their weather tweets. WX is old-fashioned shorthand for weather. (You’ll also see #mowx for Missouri weather and #ilwx for Illinois weather.) The National Weather Service also has a hail comparison guide. When all else fails, grab a ruler.
