A Square rep confirmed, however, that St. Louis is not included in that group of seven stores.
In a news release, Square CEO and St. Louis native Jack Dorsey said the partnership will “showcase the best of what’s achievable in the service of retailers and customers.”
That news release also hints at additional “lab stores,” so it’s possible the partnership will eventually reach St. Louis.
There are two Whole Foods stores in the St. Louis area: One in Brentwood and one in Town and Country.
