I’ve got the blues (and reds and greens and purples)

While cleaning out the bathroom cabinets, I have rediscovered a treasure trove of nail polish. The colors break down like this: Shades of red: 18 Shades of purple: 17 Shades of blue: 8 Shades of green: 5 Shades of black: 2 Today feels like a bright, obnoxious blue kind of day.

The date: Saturday The time: About 7 p.m. The location: Pettis County, Mo., court house lawn The victim: Me The suspect: An unnamed bird The weapon: Poop That’s right, there was a fly-by pooping. Which somehow perfectly hit my sunglasses. Which were hooked to the front of my shirt. That’s a precision aerial assault.
